Started cleaning the front axle sub-frame. Got probably about half way before running out of batteries on the cordless drill, and also abrasives.
Looked at the chassis again, the engine mounting point is attached to the upright, and hence is currently slightly distorted. Will need to fix it up when cutting out the dead metal.
