August 18th 2004 - Fitting The Fillet

Stightly paranoid about my welds and wanted to clean them up a bit so I ground the welds round the top of the upper support right back. Glad to say that although they were a little messy they were actually good welds underneath. Will probably run a small bead down the join just to be sure.

Made a start cutting out the fillet that fills in a short section of the main chasis rail that had to be cut away because it had been distended as the upper support got bent backwards. However a short sharp rain storm hit, so had to abandon work rather quickly. Should be able to complete it fairly easily tomorrow morning and get it welded into place.
