Cut away the extraneous expanding foam that was used to plug the open end of the drivers side stabiliser support and drilled through the M10 fixing point. Offered up in order to mark the backing plate hole which was then drilled. Refitted everything into place including the backing plate and the bracket for the driving lamp on the front.
Fitted up the bumper, I suspect that the new fixings aren't as long as the previous ones because the bumper is sitting too close to bodywork. Some 12mm studding will have to be sourced from somewhere to allow the bumper to stand slightly more proud than it currently is.
Tweaked the steering to try and bring the drivers wheel in a bit. Took it out for a loop around the block. The steering still isn't quite right, a bit of tyre squeal turning to the right. Didn't detect any signs of drift when I let go of the wheel, but I wonder how this will change when travelling at speed. Upon inspection it would appear that I may have over compensated when making the adjustment. Decided to let the wheel on the drivers side back out just a little bit.
Fitted the old bonnet over engine bay so that I can take the car out properly tomorrow. The bonnet is still dented on the drivers side but fits on well enough that it won't be an issue.
Ordered a new driving lamp from Demon Tweaks, should be arriving in the next few days.
